Tax credit for the purchase of diesel for road transport companies
Compensation for increased expenses incurred for the purchase of diesel between March and August 2026 compared to February of the same year. The measure covers up to 70% of the increased costs incurred for fueling heavy vehicles used for the transport of goods and passengers.
For Ustica: May be of interest to local businesses providing passenger transport or third-party freight transport equipped with buses, minibuses, or heavy vehicles, to obtain a tax credit to partially offset diesel price increases.
Who can apply
Companies based in Italy providing road freight transport for hire or reward or passenger transport, equipped with Euro V and Euro VI vehicles in categories N (mass equal to or exceeding 7.5 tonnes), M2, or M3.
Funding
Tax credit equal to a maximum of 70% of documented increased expenses for the purchase of diesel, within the limits of the overall financial allocation of 386.2 million euro.

How to apply
Application to be submitted via the designated IT platform, entering the data on liters purchased and details of the relevant purchase invoices for the eligible period.
