FER-X - Support mechanism for renewable energy plants
Regulates the 20-year support mechanism (DM FER-X Definitivo) for electricity generation from renewable energy plants (photovoltaic, wind, hydroelectric, and sewage gas) up to 1 MW. The incentive is provided through two-way contracts for difference or, for capacities below 200 kW, via an all-inclusive feed-in tariff with energy purchase by the GSE.
For Ustica: May be of interest to the Municipality of Ustica and other local public bodies to obtain a 20-year incentive or an all-inclusive feed-in tariff for electricity generation from renewable energy plants (such as photovoltaics) up to 1 MW.
Who can apply
Owners/operators of renewable energy plants with a capacity of up to 1 MW that have entered into operation (the factsheet specifically indicates Public Bodies).
Funding
20-year incentive calculated as a two-way contract on the energy price or an all-inclusive feed-in tariff for plants under 200 kW (overall national limit of 10 GW).

How to apply
Direct access application to be submitted to the GSE after the plant enters into operation, using the online channels on the GSE portal.
