ISMEA - Direct guarantees for credit access for agricultural enterprises
ISMEA issues direct guarantees (suretyships, co-guarantees with Confidi, and counter-guarantees) to support bank loans granted to agricultural enterprises. The instrument covers up to 80% of the underlying bank financing, reducing credit risk for lending institutions and enabling enterprises to benefit from more favourable interest rates and spread conditions.
For Ustica: Relevant to farmers and fishers in Ustica in need of bank financing for investments or liquidity, facilitating access to credit thanks to a public guarantee covering up to 80% of the loan.
Who can apply
SMEs active in the agriculture and fisheries sectors carrying out activities pursuant to Article 2135 of the Italian Civil Code.
Funding
Direct guarantee covering up to 80% of the bank loan value, for a maximum guaranteed amount of 5 million euros.
How to apply
The application is submitted by the agricultural enterprise through a participating lending bank or one accredited on ISMEA's GSpot online portal.
